Tween Hispanic Heritage Month Shirts and Outfits

It’s that time again – Hispanic Heritage Month! In our family, this is a big deal as our mom works as an English as a Second Language specialist with a large Hispanic population. And, of course, we are Panamanian – with a grandmother hailing from Panama. We love attending Hispanic Heritage Month events around Arkansas! Read on to see some of our tween Hispanic Heritage Month shirts and outfit ideas to wear for Hispanic Heritage Month! These outfits are also great for Cinco de Mayo or any other time you want to show off a festive side.

Today, we’re sharing some links to our favorite Hispanic Heritage Month t-shirts on Amazon. Some of these are specific Hispanic Heritage Month shirts. Others are simply proud Panamanian t-shirts and others are cute ones that I have found that represent other Hispanic cultures.

Handmade Panamanian Pollera Dresses

First, let’s take a look at the gorgeous Panamanian pollera dresses our abuelita made for us! She made one for our mom and one for each of us.

She actually made these dresses for us years ago, and this year she modified them to make them work for our current sizes.

We had a culture dress up day at school during Hispanic Heritage Month last year, and we wore the dresses.

These ones we’ve seen on there are more of the traditional Panamanian pollera dresses. The version our abuelita made is considered the pollera de luxo – modern style of pollera dresses of luxury.

On Abuelita’s last trip to Panama, she picked us up some tembleques (hair pieces) for our polleras. It is hard to see them here in our photo, but we are wearing them! There are many different accessories and pieces of jewelry for pollera dresses.

Mexican Embroidered Dresses

Years ago, we purchased some Mexican embroidered dresses at a Hispanic Heritage Month event in Bryant.

While we are Panamanian and not Mexican, we cannot help ourselves! The colorful dresses of Mexico are absolutely stunning!

If you are lucky enough to have a local vendor that carries these types of dresses, you might want to check into adding some to your wardrobe. If not, Amazon does carry some styles of these dresses and also some Folklorico dresses.

Be sure to check out our other post on our visit to the Hispanic Heritage Month event in El Dorado, Arkansas!

This black women’s In My Hispanic Heritage Month Era t-shirt is such a fun and modern shirt. This shirt only comes in women’s sizes, but Harper can fit the small. It’s a little big, but she ties it up or tucks it in.

Norah wears the pink girls’ In My Hispanic Heritage Month Era t-shirt in a retro style. It’s just as cute!

More Hispanic Heritage Month Shirts and Outfit Ideas

For another school event, we wore these Hispanic Heritage Month outfits. Our dresses were originally from Zulilly before its demise so we have no links for these. Mom picked up her Hispanic style shirt years ago at a boutique.
