Ingredients
  

Easter Egg Frosting

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter softened (1 stick)
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Heavy cream may need up to 2 tbsp
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Yellow food coloring or whatever color you prefer

Decorations for Egg

  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles
  • Pink M&Ms

Dippers

  • Pink strawberry wafers
  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallow Peeps
  • Jelly beans

Instructions
 

Make the Frosting Egg

  • Add the room temperature butter to a large mixing bowl. Mix on medium - high speed for 1 minute. 
  • On medium speed, slowly add the powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla. 
  • Pause to scrape the sides and taste to see if salt is needed. Continue to mix for another 30 seconds on medium-high speed. 
  • Add drops of yellow food coloring until desired shade has been reached. 
  • Transfer the frosting to a piping bag for easier assembly. 
  • On the board, pipe a large oval and fill in completely. Use an offset spatula to even out the frosting. 
  • Line the outside with M&Ms and decorate with mini chocolate chips and sprinkles. 

Fill The Dippers Around the Egg

  • Start with top corner to opposite bottom corner, fill in the board with cookies, pretzels, candies, etc. Do not leave any empty space. Be careful not to disturb the M&Ms border.
