Instructions
To Make Peanut Butter Balls
Mix softened butter, peanut butter, marshmallow cream, salt, and vanilla in medium mixing bowl.
Mix in powdered sugar, one cup at a time.
Roll into 20 small balls and place on baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Place in fridge to chill for about 30 minutes.
Prepare the Decoration
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the almond bark by heating in increments. Heat for 30 seconds and stir. Heat for 30 more seconds and stir. Continue with 15 second increments until the bark is melted and drippy but not overly runny.
Dip each peanut butter ball into the almond bark using a toothpick or fork. Place the ball back on the baking tray to set. Move quickly dipping all the balls because the melted almond bark will firm up quickly.
Drop or squeeze a small bit of red glaze on top of each ball, and "draw" red veins coming out from the top with a second toothpick or small flat knife.
Set a candy eye in the red glaze for each ball.
Chill peanut butter balls again until ready to serve.
