Summer is rapidly approaching and if you’re a parent, you’re probably wondering about some fun summer bucket list ideas for teens! It can be hard to keep teens entertained during the summer and avoid the dreaded “I’m bored” exclamations, but follow along for some of our favorite tween and teenage summer bucket list ideas!

1. Go for a Hike

Hiking is a great way to get kids out of the house during the summer for both physical activity and connecting with nature! If you have avid hikers, planning at least a hike a week can be a fun regular summer activity. 

And even if you don’t have avid hikers, why not introduce your kids to hiking now?

2. Camping in the Backyard with Friends

If you’re not up for a huge family camping trip, your teens can always camp out in the backyard with their friends! Add in some s’mores, a bonfire, and some campfire songs and your teen will have just as much fun as they would on a regular camping trip, with friends included! 

3. Have a Movie Marathon (Pretty Much on Every Teen’s Summer Bucket List)

Movie marathons are great for days that you aren’t looking to leave the house. To make it even more fun, read a complete book series and then watch all the movies after to see how they compare!
