Make an Orange Fanta Float for Halloween
We love serving ice cream drinks. You may have already checked out our patriotic milkshake for the Fourth of July.
Just as with the patriotic drink, the orange float recipe for Halloween allows you to serve a fun drink while keeping in theme. The best thing is that it is great for anyone of any age. We like to serve this to our friends at Halloween time. But we also love serving this orange Fanta float any time of year without the Halloween decorations.
Ingredients for our Halloween Fanta Float
- Orange sherbet
- Orange Fanta
Where To Buy Halloween Eyeballs
You can find Halloween toy eyeballs at places like Dollar Tree and Walgreens. You can also find jelly eyeballs or other candy eyeballs on Amazon, Walmart, or other grocers.
We also like to dress up the Halloween floats with skeleton hands and a Halloween towel or napkins.
Instructions for Halloween Sherbet Float
1. Add a few scoops of your favorite orange sherbet into a frosty glass or mug.
2. Pour Orange Fanta over the top until fizz comes to the top of the glass.
Expert Tips for Making Halloween Ice Cream Float
- Use clear, tall glasses: A clear, tall glass will allow you to see the different layers of the orange float as you add the sherbet and the soda.
- Chill the Fanta: Cold drinks tend to separate less, so chill your Fanta before using. Obviously, a cold drink will stay cold longer if all components are cold to start with.
- Use a spoon rather than a straw: You can add a festive straw for cuteness sake, but you will likely need a spoon to really get into the sherbet.
- Experiment with different Halloween decorative items. Other than the eyeballs, you might add a cute little ghost pick or tie orange and black ribbon around the glass.
