Expert Tips for Making Halloween Ice Cream Float

  1. Use clear, tall glasses: A clear, tall glass will allow you to see the different layers of the orange float as you add the sherbet and the soda.
  2. Chill the Fanta: Cold drinks tend to separate less, so chill your Fanta before using. Obviously, a cold drink will stay cold longer if all components are cold to start with.
  3. Use a spoon rather than a straw: You can add a festive straw for cuteness sake, but you will likely need a spoon to really get into the sherbet.
  4. Experiment with different Halloween decorative items. Other than the eyeballs, you might add a cute little ghost pick or tie orange and black ribbon around the glass.
