Moon and Stars Party Food Ideas

You may have caught our moon and sunshine party for the solar eclipse last week! We were able to incorporate a lot of the same snack ideas into both parties!

We had so much fun coming up with our moon and stars party food! A lot of it is ordered from Amazon. I had quick and easy deliveries right to my doorstep. And since I knew exactly what I needed – after some brainstorming – I didn’t have to go searching around. However, many of these items can easily be found at your local Walmart, Kroger, or other favorite grocery store.

I price checked before I ordered, and my local Walmart prices were very similar to the Amazon prices for the particular items I was ordering.

Moon and Stars Party Decorations or Stars Party Decorations

What vibe are you going for – metals and neutrals, bright pops of color, black and white with touches of silver?

For stars party decorations, you can simply set up a cute table with either a stars tablecloth or a solid color. Personally, we love our iridescent tablecloth that coordinates with the hanging iridescent moon and stars decorations we bought. Vertical hanging moon and stars decorations are cute on the wall or dangling from light fixtures.

As you can see, we went with the iridescent look for Harper’s elementary school graduation party.

But these decoration can be used for any type of stars theme party – and the pink iridescent is especially cute for a girl party of any type!

What’s great about these hanging decorations is that they could be repurposed from a moon and stars baby shower into a baby nursery if the parents were using a moon and stars nursery theme. This We’re Over the Moon garland would be cute for both a party and a nursery!

But you can do your own twist. Some other ideas include hanging a phases of the moon garland. How chic is this hammered metal phases of the moon garland! That can totally be used as decor after the party! This one would be cute for a Love You to the Moon and Back party theme.

A simple letter board with the party theme quote always adds an extra touch! We would recommend not displaying words on the garland in addition to a letter board with the same quote. It might be a bit much. But you could use a letter board with the quote and then simply a garland of stars.
